About the Role

The Director creates the vision and strategy for Echoing Green’s impact funding department. The Director is responsible for leading its programmatic activities, thought leadership, partner relations and outreach, as well as department budget, management, and operations. Until 2020, the Director will provide direct Fellow and alumni support related to investment raising, oversees the Investor Advisory Group, and oversees recoverable grant processes.

Ultimately, the Director drives Echoing Green’s Impact Funding strategy and ensures the organization’s thought leadership and funder partnership lead in the impact investing and philanthropic fields. The Director works collaboratively across all internal teams, and particularly with the senior leadership of Leadership Development, Catalyze Ecosystem, Individual Fellow Support, Development, Communications, and Knowledge, to achieve department goals.

Build out Echoing Green’s Funder Universe and Partnerships

Thought Leadership

Management, Systems, and Operations

In addition to these core responsibilities, the role will implement transition plans for the following work to other teams, particularly the Individual Fellow Support and Leadership Development Framework teams, by 2020. As needed and confirmed with respective managers, this role will provide time‐bound training to staff on systems and processes during the transition period.
